KUALA LUMPUR, August 25, 2004 – Teledirect Telecommerce Sdn. Bhd. (Teledirect), a member of the WPP Group, solidified their position as the premier provider of customized teleservices, outsourced customer service, and teleconsulting in Malaysia by winning five (5) awards at the 4th CCAM (Contact Center Association of Malaysia) Awards Ceremony. The awards were presented by Datuk Dr. Halim Shafie, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communication at the Nikko Hotel on August 20, 2004.

Teledirect won four (4) out six (6) categories it participated in. The winning categories recognize outstanding achievements based on customer service and strategies, Key Performance Index (KPIs), contact center management expertise, employees recruitment and retention amongst others. These criteria secured Teledirect the following awards:

a. Best Telemarketing Centre Award.
b. Best Contact Centre Award (above 50 seats) - 1st Runner Up
Contact Centre Professionals Awards Category
a. Best Contact Centre Manager Award (below 50 seats)
b. Best Contact Centre Agent (below 50 seats).
The Best Contact Centre Agent Award was won by two Teledirect nominees tied for first place. This reinforces Teledirect’s past track record and achievement in the Contact Center for outstanding levels of professionalism, leadership and commitment.
