In line with the strong continued demand from financial services and logistics for business process outsourcing (BPO), Teledirect recently celebrated the official opening of its new 18,000 square foot call centre facility in the district of Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

“Teledirect decided to take advantage of the tremendous value being offered by landlords in the developing Kowloon Bay area. Grade A buildings with world class infrastructure, excellent transportation links in the geographic heart of Hong Kong made this a relatively easy decision”, said Managing Director Michael Cowell. The new facility brings to 300 the number of agent positions provided by Teledirect in Hong Kong. The state of the art facility includes new unified IP based technology providing VoIP, email, IM and SMS. In addition to high security standards and spacious work areas, there are modern training facilities and canteen area for the growing workforce at Teledirect.

Cowell added, “We needed the new facility to help get closer to the districts in which the majority of our staff live. We recognise that in representing leaders in financial services and logistics, having a first class facility with all the modern conveniences will help us recruit and retain the very best management and agents to drive our clients’ businesses forward.
