TELEDIRECT TELECOMMERCE
Teledirect Commerce Sdn Bhd clinched a total of 11 awards at the recently concluded Customer Relationship Management and Contact Centre Association (CCAM) Annual Awards 2005, making it the largest number of awards bagged by a single company.
"This is indeed a great recognition for us as we have bettered our own performance. Last year, we bagged 5 awards and this year sees us set a new standard for ourselves. The contact centre team at Teledirect Telecommerce has certainly done us proud. They have proven that they are among industry’s very best," said a beaming CEO Laurent Junique.
Similar to last year, the company participated in 2 categories, namely the Corporate Awards and the Individual Awards.
This year, in the Corporate Category, Teledirect Telecommerce was awarded the Silver Award for the Best Outsourced Contact Centre (Below 50 seats).
Of the 13 staff who were successful in reaching the final nominations for various awards in the Individual category, 10 clinched awards, namely :
Best Outsourced Contact Centre Professional (Below 50 seats) - 3 Gold Awards
Best Outsourced Contact Centre Professional (Above 50 seats) - 3 Gold Awards
Best Contact Centre Team Leader (Below 50 seats) - 2 Gold Awards – Gold & Silver
Best Contact Centre Manager (above 50 seats) – 1 Award – Bronze
Best Contact Centre Champion (above 50 seats) – 1 Award – Bronze
Organised by the Asssociation which was established in 1999, the CCAM Annual Awards, is an industry event created with the objective of recognizing the best companies and the best professionals in the field.
With outsourcing identified as a potential sector to fuel the nation’s economic engine, the awards lend significant impact to raise industry standards. Contact centres adjudged for their sterling performance will be the driving force behind Malaysia’s focus to be the regional hub.

For the corporate Award Category (Best Outsourced Contact Centre (Below 50 seats), Teledirect will go on to compete in the regional competition to be held in Singapore on 18 November 2005, competing with contact centres in the Asian region.
